Zurich Law Firms Merge

Zurich law firm Henrici Wicki & Guggisberg has merged with CMS von Erlach Klainguti Stettler Wille, part of the London-based CMS Cameron McKenna. The new firm will operate under the name CMS von Erlach Henrici. Henrici Wicki & Guggisberg is a five-partner practice specializing in banking commercial work. The merger is the latest in a series of expansionist moves by the CMS alliance across Europe. Earlier this year, CMS acquired Spanish coverage for the first time after securing a deal with Albinana & Suarez de Lezo to join the alliance. In the same month, Germany’s CMS Hasche Sigle also picked up the 125-lawyer Cologne office of Norton Rose.
